Management Members

 

 

Pat O'Keefe
Director of Operations

Pat has been involved with large scale, high volume, distribution facilities for nearly 30 years. He has a wide range of experiences starting with line supervision of a packing operation, industrial engineering, work measurement systems, facility planning, transportation and full scale facility operations. Product lines within his experience include wearing apparel, footwear, packaged computer software, school books, disposable paper goods, party supplies and food starch. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts where he holds an MBA with a concentration in operations management.

Helen Means

Director of Business Development

Helen joined the company on September 10, 2001. At that time Helen was assigned the responsibility for ensuring food safety and security. Her duties included ensuring the facility’s compliance with all federal, state and any other governmental regulations, laws or guidelines that were required as the Safety and GMP Manager of Sataria.  She has worked in various aspects of the day to day functions at Sataria. Today Helen is the Director of Business Development.

Jennifer Wiles
Human Resources and Accounting Administrator

Jennifer has been with Sataria since December 2003. Initially, she worked in operations when she first joined the company. Jennifer has graduated from Indiana Business College with Associate degrees in both Business Management and Professional Accounting. Today she is the Human Resources and Accounting Administrator. She is responsible for all aspects of both departments.

Information Technology

Roger Dearnaley
Information Technology Manager

Roger has over 30 years of experience in Information Technologies, working in a diversity of industries, including distribution, manufacturing, minerals, property management, insurance and biomed. He has worked with several companies with warehouse automation and bringing technology to bear on distribution problem solving. He brings his knowledge of systems management, development and systems integration to Sataria to help improve the efficiency and performance of the operations.

Joe Brown
Materials Manager

Joe has been with Sataria since 2003 and has been involved in the logistics industry since 1998. He has enjoyed working his way up the ladder and began with the company as a material handler. Following that, Joe moved through the ranks as a forklift operator and then as a supervisor. He spent a year with the I.T. department supporting end users and working on business improvement projects. Joe is cross-trained in all aspects of the WMS System and enjoys implementing new projects to continue company growth

 

 

Brent Baker
Shipping Manager

Brent joined Sataria in April 2008. He is a graduate of Indiana University – Bloomington where he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Affairs with concentrations in Public Financial Management and Environmental Science Management. Brent has been directly involved with large scale distribution management for nearly 10 years. His expertise includes process improvements, start-up operation management, LEAN, training, quality and safety management. Brent’s knowledge helps provide great service to our customers while keeping safety, quality and efficiency at the forefront

Customer Service/Transportation

 

Shanicka Mitchell
Manager of Customer Service

Shanicka has been in the warehouse business for 12 years. She has been with the company since April 2001.   She started with the company when there were approximately 20 employees and assisted in its early growth stages. She has managed various departments, including Inventory and Order Management. Today, she works as the Customer Service/Transportation Manager.  In this position she oversees the scheduling of all outbound and inbound shipments, customer delays, as well as Customer Complaints. She works directly with the Shipping and Material Management Managers to research, resolve, and develop corrective actions for customer complaints.

Lisa Didon

Lisa has been with Sataria since 2004. In her customer Service/Transporation position she solves carriers issues, schedules appointments and assures that all freight is picked up to make delivery to the customer on time. Lisa attended college at IUPUI. She has held various positions in the trucking industry including customer service and dispatch. Lisa also was a National Starch & Chemical employee for seven years.

Nora Anderson

Nora Joined Sataria in November 10, 2003 as a receptionist.  She has worn many different hats during her employment to be cross-trained in various work positions.   Today, her focus is on scheduling carriers for our customers.
